Still We Rise Collective builds a people-powered electoral ecosystem, rooted in deep relationships, shared narratives, political education, and grassroots leadership, so communities most impacted by injustice lead decision makers, shape policy, and hold power in Oregon.
mISSION
Still We Rise Collective exists to strengthen Oregon’s electoral and legislative ecosystem by building a people-powered movement led by those most often shut out of democracy. We organize alongside communities of color, immigrants, rural, poor and working-class people, single parents, mothers, and queer Oregonians to transform lived experience into political power. Through deep listening, shared learning, and collective accountability, we move community-led solutions from vision to legislation and implementation, because lasting change rises from the bottom up.

We envision an Oregon where democracy is truly inclusive and responsive, where political power is rooted in community, not concentrated in institutions removed from the people, where communities most impacted by injustice lead decision-making, shape policy, and hold power at every level. Our vision is a thriving, interconnected movement where everyday Oregonians shape elections, policy, and public systems, and where democracy is sustained through participation, care, and shared responsibility.
In this future, a strong, people-powered electoral ecosystem ensures that policies reflect lived experience, material needs are met with dignity, and collective care and accountability guide our shared governance. We see a state where organizing from the bottom up is not the exception, but the foundation of lasting change, where people-powered organizing strengthens the electoral ecosystem and creates lasting, material change for generations to come.
